The Missing Frame

For thirty years, a retired projectionist has screened the film of his life every night in an empty cinema. Tonight the reel burns — at the exact frame he once cut out himself. To mend the film, he must step into the burn and splice back the one ordinary morning he couldn't bear to watch.
